Throughout December, some of the band, braving the wintry weather, entertained the customers of Roys of Wroxham, the Stalham branch of Tesco, The Star at Lessingham and The King’s Arms at Ludham. Thanks to the generosity of the public, around £1000 was raised.
A special mention must go to those who attended the King’s Arms carol service on December 23rd (where Farther Christmas himself put in an appearance 24 hours before his busiest day of the year!), as the money raised that evening will be donated to the RNLI, the band’s chosen charity for this year. Thanks to Nicky for providing the mulled wine, mince pies & very welcome hot chocolate!
