Christmas 2015 with Norfolk Wherry Brass

There’s nothing quite like a traditional brass band to get you in the festive spirit! As ever Norfolk Wherry Brass will be out and about across the county this Christmas and here’s where you can find us…

MCD_5920Annual RAFA Concert

The band returns to Stalham High School on Wednesday 16th December at 7.30pm for the annual Christmas Concert in aid of the Potter Heigham branch of the Royal Air Forces Association. Tickets are £7 with a £1 discount for patrons.

Christmas Lights Switch On

Some of the band will be playing at The Forum, Norwich on Tuesday 1st December between 10:20am and 11:45am to help turn on their Christmas lights with Norwich High School for Girls Choir and Helen McDermott.

Christmas Carol Service

We’ll be performing at the National Kidney Foundation’s Christmas Carol service at Norwich Cathedral on Friday 4th December from 7.30pm. It’s a free event in support of a great cause so we’d love to see you there.

We’ll also be carolling at Highway Garden & Leisure on Sunday 20th December. All between the times of 10:30am and 2:30pm. Come and pop by if you can!

NWB Academy Band

The Norfolk Wherry Brass Academy Band also have a couple of appearances this Christmas, firstly at the Dilham Christmas Fair on Saturday 5th December (11:30am until 1pm, Dilham Village Hall) and their second annual Christmas Concert on Friday 18th December.

MCD_5847The concert will feature special performances from the Neatishead Primary School Choir and will be raising money for both the band and ITV’s Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day appeal so come along in your favourite Christmas jumper!

Entrance is free but donations will be taken at the end of the concert and for the seasonal refreshments that will be on offer.
